About this course

This “Using social media to communicate" self-paced course is intended to introduce learners to some of the popular social media applications and how to use the applications for appropriate communication.

Who is this course for? The course is aimed at learners who are not familiar with the popular social media applications out there and and who would like to get started using them

What will you learn? By the end of this course, you will be familiar with Facebook, WhatsApp, Google Chat, Google Meet, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. You will also be aware of cyberbullying and what comprises good online behaviour

Topics overview: Facebook privacy settings, WhatsApp group chats, cyber-mobbing, netiquette and TikTok

How much time you need to invest: Completing this course should take approximately 1,5 hours

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for entry to this online course

Course Certificate: A course certificate will be generated on the successful completion of the final quiz.
