This course on Forest Landscape Restoration by the GIZ project Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) in Afghanistan is free of charge.

1. Course Context & Summary: Comprehensive information about Forest Landscape Restoration in semi-arid areas with a specific focus on Afghanistan. The content is focusing on inclusive development, community participation, disaster risk management and climate change adaptation.
2. Target Audience: The target group of this course are NGO employees, local extension officer in Afghanistan and other semi-arid regions.
3. Learning Objectives: After completing this course the learner received an overview about trends and methods of the chosen topics with a specific focus on semi-arid areas.
4. Topics Overview: Inclusive development, community, participation, disaster risk management and climate change adaptation
5. Prior knowledge: Basic understanding of English (level B2).
6. Learning Format: Gamified Learning, Asynchronous Web-based training, Self-paced learning, Story-based Learning
7. Workload: 20 hours learning time.
8. Course Certificate: Participants can receive an official certificate after mastering the course.
