Agriculture as a Business - Part 2: Deep Dive

Welcome to Part 2 of our comprehensive Agriculture as Business course! Building on the fundamental knowledge and skills developed in the initial four sessions, this part of the course delves into advanced topics and techniques, offering a richer and more in-depth learning experience.

In this self-paced course, you, as an extension worker, teacher, instructor, ministerial team, or agripreneur, will learn about management tools for long-term planning, analysis, investment decision-making, and monitoring of your business. You will also learn when to apply which tool and how to use it in your own company. It will take you about 1-3 hours to complete one session of this course, so a maximum of 8 hours for the whole of Part 2 of the Agriculture as Business course, and you will earn a PDF certificate after passing all the quizzes with at least 50% of the points for each session, including the general course completion certificate of Agricuture as a Business course.

"Agriculture as a Business" offers 6 consecutive individualized training sessions and 1 bonus session. You can find session 1-4 in the course Agriculture as a Business - Part 1. Sessions 5.6 and bonus material are available in this course.

To ensure that you get the most out of Farming as a Business – Part 2: Deepening, it is recommended that you have completed the first four sessions of the course. These sessions lay the necessary foundation for the advanced topics covered in Part 2.

Who is the course for?

This course is intended for extension workers, teachers, trainers (masters) and ministry officials, but of course you can also study it if you are an agripreneur or have a general interest in the subject. You don't need any other course as a prerequisite.

What will you learn?

In this course, you will learn about farms as economic and business units, management tools for planning, analysis, investment decision-making, monitoring your business and when to apply the tools and how to use them in your own business.

How much time do you need to invest? You will need approximately 16 hours to complete the general course, 9 hours will be required to complete part 2 (Session 5, 6 and Bonus).
