Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly crucial across various sectors globally, especially in Southeast Asia, where technological adoption is accelerating. This course is designed to empower policymakers with the necessary tools to harness AI in crafting policies that are not only innovative but also ethical and sustainable. By integrating AI into the policy-making process, we aim to foster sustainable development that respects human rights and technological advancements.

This online course is intended for policymakers, business leaders, and professionals from various sectors who are involved in technology decision-making or are interested in understanding AI's implications for society and governance. It is particularly valuable for those in the Global South looking to leverage AI in a way that complements local cultural and economic contexts.

Participants will gain insights into the practical and theoretical aspects of AI integration into public policy. The course covers a range of topics, including AI ethics, the role of AI in the public and private sectors, strategies for implementing responsible AI policies, and the impact of AI on social equity and governance.
