About this course

In this 120-minute self-paced course, System Architects and IT Developers will learn about Scheduler Building Block and its functions and terminology.

At the end of this module, you will be able to:

  1. understand the functionalities and user roles of the Scheduler Building Block (BB), which automates time-driven activities across various sectors. You will learn how it coordinates events, manages resources and subscribers, and handles communications through alert messages.
  2. understand and apply the key digital functionalities of the Scheduler Building Block (BB), including managing events, entities, and alerts. You will learn how to coordinate resources and schedules effectively across different organizational contexts, ensuring improved operational efficiency and communication. 
  3. understand the structural organization of the Scheduler Building Block, including how data objects such as Events, Resources, Subscribers, and Alerts are interlinked and managed within various lists. You will also be equipped to comprehend the roles of different data groups and their functionalities in facilitating the scheduling operations and the overall data flow within the system.
  4. describe the primary functions and integration capabilities of the Scheduler Building Block APIs, understand the how Scheduler Building Block work with workflows, and identify how these APIs facilitate interaction among various GovStack-compatible Building Blocks.
