  • Welcome to the Gig Economy Learning pathways- where you can gain valuable career advice and learn new skills for the gig economy! The programme consists of 9 courses for workers and 8 courses for policy stakeholders. You can take each course independently or complete the learning pathways for each bundle.

    Who is this programme for? 
    Whether you are a gig worker, rider, agile regulator, researcher or simply a curious learner, you will find all the resources you need to understand and navigate the gig economy effectively.

    What will you learn?

    • Gig Workers: Discover the essentials of gig work, understand fair working conditions, supporting women in the gig economy, learn essential skills - financial literacy, digital skills and soft skills - needed to navigate the gig economy.
    • Riders & Couriers: In addition to above, gain insights into financial and digital literacy, customer orientation, and road safety.
    • Agile Regulators: Learn about agile regulation, platform work, fair and decent work practices, data and algorithms, competition, taxation, and gender issues within the gig economy.

    How much time do you need to invest? Completing each course bundle takes approx. 3-4 learning hours. You can also complete each course individually in approx. 60 mins.

    Course Certificate: You will receive course certificates and digital badges for each course. All courses are self-paced, and you can complete them in any order.
