In this self-paced course, participants will improve working skills, technical knowledge and aptitude
on workplace safety and standards. IGnITE (Indo-German Initiative for Technical Education) Safety course has been made to
enhance understanding, aptitude, and technical know-how of the various beneficiaries on
occupational safety and standards as the course content is specifically made to
meet every industry’s needs.
The course on industrial safety aims to help instructors, supervisors, managers enhance their know-how on industrial safety, hazard and risk management ability, accident prevention methods and hygiene standards, which in turn shall ensure better safeguards in respective workplaces. IGnITE Safety course has prioritized to provide awareness to participants on risk management and health and safety management which can lead to safe and secure work environment.
Who is this course for?
The industrial safety training course caters to a broad audience, including instructors, trainees, employees in hazardous industries, supervisors, managers, executives, safety professionals, contractors, subcontractors, and new hires. It offers essential training on safety protocols and procedures in industrial settings.
What will you learn?
You will be able to apply crucial industrial safety skills and knowledge in various workplace contexts. This encompasses a comprehensive understanding of Safety and Environmental Laws, Personal Safety, Tools and Equipment Safety, Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene, and Risk Management. This practical knowledge extends to interpreting environmental regulations, ensuring proper usage of personal protective equipment, practicing safety protocols with tools and machinery, and mastering Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA). As a result, participants will be adept at identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential hazards, contributing to the establishment of a secure work environment.
How much time will you need? You will need approximately 8 hours to complete this course.
Topics Overview: Safety and Environmental Laws, Personal Safety, Tools and Equipment Safety, Occupational Health & Hygiene, Risk Management.
Course Certificate: Participants will receive module wise certificate on successful completion of respective modules. Also, those who completes all the modules will receive overall certificate on "Industrial Safety". This will be a joint certification by GIZ and Siemens.
