About this course

This course will provide the necessary educational resources, references, activities and assignments for the GovStack Women in GovTech Challenge 2023-24. 

The first cohort of women in GovTech is all set to master the necessary skills to develop citizen-centric digital government services, learn technical and soft skills, and accelerate their GovTech careers. GovStack team and experienced mentors will provide guided support enabling participants to design citizen-centric digital services with the GovStack approach. Top projects will be showcased at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2024.

 

Who is the course for?

This course is tailored for the women selected to be a part of the first cohort of Women in GovTech Challenge 2023-24.

 

What will you learn?

The participants will find e-learning materials necessary to guide them through the various tasks and assignments related to the design of a use case based on the GovStack approach.

 

How much time do you need to invest? 19 hours over 8 weeks.

 

Topics overview: GovStack Building Blocks approach, user centric service design and delivery, Identity, Payments, Information Meediator, Interoperability, change management, leadership and more.

 

Course Certificate: The teams that deliver of each week’s quizzes, assignments, complete three learning courses from Coursera and submit a service design proposal at the end of the challenge will be awarded a certificate recognising the successful completion of the challenge.

 

Course start and end date: 6th of November 2023 to 9th of February 2024. The program provided lectures each week, delivered by different guest speakers.
