About this course

Infection Prevention and Control in Schools is a self-paced course for school heads, teachers, lecturers, and relevant school personnel working with education in Malawi. The course was designed with an estimated time of 6 hours and a digital certificate will be earned once you complete all modules and achieving a 70% score on quizzes.

What will you learn?

The course will help target learners be more confident about the relevant measures related to IPC and how to implement them in school to ensure safe operations within and beyond a pandemic. Specifically, at the end of the course, participants will be able to (1) Explain the importance and need for IPC in schools, (2) Implement IPC measures, (3) Articulate the role of vaccination in infection control and (4) Determine appropriate actions for managing IPC in schools.

How much time do you need to invest?

The whole course was designed with an estimated learning time of 6 hours. This includes reading in course text and resources, watching videos and a quiz.

Course certificate:

You will be awarded a digital copy of the course certificate from the course developers upon achieving at least 70% correct answers in the quizzes found at the end of each module.
