About this course

In this self-paced course, participants will learn the fundamentals of how to design and implement effective measures for climate protection in the production and use of chemicals. It will take you about 12 hours to complete it and you will earn a certificate.

Who is this course for?

Participants should have solid knowledge in the areas of chemical production, engineering and/or climate protection, ideally with working experiences in a relevant public or private sector institution, in companies, academia, education or consultancy, related to the chemical industry and/or climate policies. 

What will you learn? 

By the end of this course, you will be able to identify Greenhouse Gas emission reduction options, select applicable assessment methodologies and assess the emission reduction potential of mitigation actions for the chemical and petrochemical industry. Furthermore, you will receive information regarding chemical management as well as the concepts of sustainable chemistry and circular economy.

How much time you need to invest: Completing the course should take 12 hours.
