This self paced online course is the last in a series of six courses. This course will provide a review of the 'Responsible AI' landscape, including key ethical and governance issues, through the lens of justice.
Who is this course for? This course is aimed at judicial operators (including judges, prosecutors, public lawyers), policymakers, academics, social workers and civil society representatives
What will you learn? By the end of this course, you will have an understanding of the concepts and principles related to AI ethics, AI governance and the relevance of metrics and methodologies to measure the impact of AI in the judiciary
Topics overview: What does 'Responsible AI' mean? What are emerging AI governance initiatives and how do they impact justice? What are the implications of AI governance frameworks in the African justice systems?
How much time you need to invest: This course will take approximately 45 - 60 minutes to complete
Prerequisites: None, but a good understanding of judicial processes and the rule of law is advantageous
Course certificate: A course certificate will be generated on the successful completion of the final quiz
