In this self-paced course, policy-makers will learn how demographic changes are interconnected with key sectors and goals of the Agenda 2030 and understand the importance of population dynamics for development cooperation and policy planning. It will take you about 2-3 hours to complete and you will earn a certificate.
Who is this course for? The course is for professionals working in partner governments and development organizations on topics that are related and cross-cutting to population dynamics, as well as other donors and implementers of development cooperation, such as embassies, ministries, development banks, but also research institutions and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) - anyone who wants to learn more about population dynamics. Prior knowledge is not required.
What will you learn? By the end of this course, you will be able to explain how demographic changes are linked to sustainable development and understand its importance for development planning.
How much time do you need to invest? Completing the course should take 2-3 hours. However, some parts in the course are optional and will not factor into your result and the certificate of completion.
