About this course

Digital citizenship represents a constant tension between the potential of digital media for social good and the threat of misuse and appropriation. This course looks at the concept of citizenship considering a range of e-literacies and associated rights and responsibilities in a digital world.

What will you learn? 

In this course you will learn about citizenship (digital and traditional) and gain a better understanding of your digital life — both how to protect it, and what your rights and responsibilities are in participating in the digital realm


Topics overview: digital identity, digital literacies, digital footprints


How much time do you need to invest? It will take you approximately two (2) hours to complete this course.


Course certificate: a course certificate will be generated on the successful completion of the final quiz
