The course starts with the importance of energy for hotels. Further, the linkage between energy consumption and carbon emission is shown. The need for stakeholder commitment to energy management is highlighted. Besides, the module dives deeper into the assessment of energy consumption in hotels. A crucial aspect to be discussed is the implementation of energy efficiency measures. The course concludes with looking at special issues in energy, such as the implementation of digitalization to manage energy performance better and to increase energy efficiency. It will take you about 1 hour to complete this course and you will earn an open badge once you complete the course and pass the assessment.
