In this self-paced
course, textile, garment and footwear manufacturers will learn the impact of
climate change, how to account for greenhouse gas emissions and implement
measures to cut the emissions.
The training will
provide foundational knowledge on how suppliers get started to achieve a 30%
emission reduction by 2030 and net zero emissions by 2050.
Who is this course for?
The course is intended for factory management and technical
mid-management of Tier 1 and 2 suppliers in the textile, garment and footwear
industry.
What will you learn?
You will learn about
- Climate change and action in the industry
- Introduction to GHG emissions (Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions)
- Principles of GHG accounting (mainly for Scope 1 and 2 emissions)
- Target setting
- Low-carbon solutions (Energy Efficiency and Renewable technologies).
How much time do I need to invest? Completing the main course and short quizzes would take about 11 - 13 hours in total.

Course Certificate: You will earn a certificate once you complete all modules and reach 60% in the final exam.
