Climate Action Training for the Cycling Industry

How can we achieve a net zero cycling world? This self-paced course provides manufacturing sites of the cycling industry with foundational knowledge on measuring and reporting greenhouse gas emissions, how to set reduction targets and monitor progress, as well as case studies of potential solutions to drive down emissions.
Who is this course for?
The course is targeted at top management and technical mid-management at factories to raise awareness on their critical role in achieving a net zero cycling world.
However, the training provides a great introduction for anyone in the cycling industry who is interested to gain valuable knowledge about the cycling industry’s role in achieving the 1.5-degree goal and how to support their company in taking meaningful climate action.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Measure and report on your company's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
- Set reduction targets to lower GHG emissions;
- Monitor progress on lowering GHG emissions and;
- Identify low-carbon solutions for energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy (RE)
How much time do you need to invest?
Completing the main course and short quizzes will take about 1-3 hours per module.
Completing all six modules and the additional (optional) assignments will take about approximate 14-20 hours.

Certificate: Participants will earn a certificate of completion after finalizing all six modules and reaching a minimum of 75% in the final exam.
