FMNR – Advanced course

Dive deeper into FMNR, a simple and powerful technique for restoring landscapes and healing the environment. 

This advanced course builds on the FMNR orientation. You will learn about how to apply the FMNR technique, how to introduce FMNR to a community, how to ensure inclusivity, how to track progress and impact, and how to address common misconceptions and challenges. 

Who is this course for? 

This course is aimed at those who need a deeper understanding of FMNR, especially practitioners who will be teaching or practising FMNR in communities. 

It may also be of interest to a broader audience, including civil society organisations, other development professionals and NGO staff, funders, government policymakers and technical staff, students and academics in the areas of conservation, restoration, climate change, etc.

What will you learn? 

By the end of the course, you will be able to: 

  • Describe how to apply the FMNR technique, including how to use it in different settings 
  • Explain how to effectively introduce FMNR in a community  
  • List considerations for ensuring FMNR is inclusive
